Scope
This policy covers this website only. Night Owl Software Studios publishes mobile applications that have their own separate privacy policies, listed at the end of this page. Work we carry out for clients is governed by the agreements we hold with those clients, not by this policy.
What This Site Collects
The contact form is the only part of this site that collects anything. When you submit it, we receive:
- Name — required
- Email address — required, so we can reply
- Company — optional
- Your message — required
We use this solely to read and answer your enquiry. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.
What This Site Does Not Do
- It sets no cookies.
- It runs no analytics, and no advertising or tracking scripts of any kind.
- It loads nothing from third-party servers. Fonts are self-hosted, so no request is made to any font CDN, and there are no embedded widgets, pixels, or social buttons.
- It does not attempt to identify or profile visitors.
If you never submit the contact form, we receive nothing from you beyond the ordinary server logs described below.
Hosting and Processing
This site is hosted by Netlify, which also processes contact-form submissions on our behalf and stores them for us to read. Like any web host, Netlify keeps standard server logs that may include IP addresses, request times, and user-agent strings. That processing is governed by Netlify's privacy policy.
The form includes a hidden anti-spam field. It is never shown to you and is not used to collect anything about you — automated submissions tend to fill it in, and legitimate ones do not.
Retention and Deletion
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as the conversation is useful — typically the life of the enquiry and any engagement that follows.
You can ask us to delete your submission at any time, and you can ask for a copy of what we hold. Email nossteam@nossdev.com and we will action it and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason.
