Wren is a baby tracker made for 3am. The record stays on your phone. Here are the answers to the questions people ask most.

Where are my records?

On your phone, in Wren's own storage. There's no account, so there's nothing to sign in to and nothing for us to look up. If you share with other phones (Wren Household), each of your phones keeps its own copy.

How do I keep a copy?

Two ways, both in More: Backup saves one file, locked with 8 words only you have, to a folder you choose (on the phone, or one that syncs, like Google Drive or iCloud Drive). Export everything makes a file with every entry and photo that you can open anywhere.

I have a new phone

Install Wren on the new phone. On the first screen, tap "Coming from another app? Bring your records", choose A Wren backup, pick your backup file and type your 8 words. A backup restores only before anything is logged on the new phone. It works between iPhone and Android. If you share with other phones, you can join your household from the new phone instead: tap "Joining someone's Wren?" on the first screen.

I lost my words

The backup can't be opened without them, and we can't open it either. If your old phone still has Wren, it can show the words again (More, Backup, Show my 8 words, after your phone's lock), or set up new words and make a fresh backup. A backup set up with 12 words still restores with them.

Why did my buttons on Today move?

By default, what you log most sits nearest your thumb, counted over the last 14 days. The buttons move at most once a day, in the daytime, and only when one clearly overtakes another. To keep them where you put them, open More, then Settings, then Today's buttons, and choose them yourself.

How do I delete everything?

More, Delete everything. It removes the log, the photos and every file Wren made from that phone. In a household, that phone also leaves; the other phones keep their copy.

Wren Household

An optional subscription for a second phone and more, a second child and more, Apple Watch or Wear OS, a colour for each child, and the PDF for the pediatrician. If it ends, nothing is taken away: the log stays and you keep logging; only sharing, the watch and the PDF stop, and so do adding a child with another birthday and keeping a new colour. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Write to nossteam@nossdev.com. If something went wrong, open More, then Settings, then Diagnostic report, and tap Email it to Wren: your mail app opens with the report filled in, which you can read before you send. It counts entries but never says what they are.
